  Meet Stumpie:

He's become a landmark of sorts on Highway 6 to Tillamook since 2000.
"Bear" carved him on his 47th birthday as a gift to himself.
Friends and neighbors watch out for him and no mischief has befallen him,
although the neighbors do dress him up for holidays and special occasions.
